Technically necessary local storage (localStorage), without a cookie and without any personal identifier: rl-theme (the chosen light/dark display mode) and rl-taste (a note that the first-visit picker on /inspiration has already been shown or skipped). Both are client-side only, are never sent to the server, and — as functionally necessary storage under § 25(2) TTDSG — require no consent.
